This robot cleaner by Dyson is a great performer. OK, isn’t whisper-quiet (so you might want to let it work when you’re out) but it performs admirably on dust and pet hair, whether it’s on the carpet or wooden flooring. It comes with an app so you can set boundaries (it’s not great at avoiding obstacles otherwise) and it has four power modes – auto, boost, quick, quiet. It doesn’t have a self-emptying feature, so you’ll be doing that bit yourself, but it’s a great cleaner that stands out among robot vacuums.
