Draper’s 53491 charger keeps things simple: plug it in, hook it up, and let the 10‑step smart programme sort out the battery. It analyses, charges, and reconditions, so it’s handy for anything from a mildly discharged battery to something that’s been sitting ages. It works with 6V and 12V lead‑acid batteries along with 12V lithium, which covers most.
There’s also a winter mode designed to help batteries cope when temperatures drop – useful if your motor spends more time outside than in. At under a kilo, it’s light and easy to stash away, though some reviewers reckon the cable durability could be better. Others say it charges quickly and feels solid.
