If you’re looking for a classic/retro look, this Oxford Hardy Wax Jacket looks the part. It has a wax cotton polyester blend outer and a waterproof, breathable Reissa membrane under, giving it a decent level of waterproofing.
As for protection, the Hardy comes with level 1 rated shoulder and elbow armour to give better impact protection too.
There’s lots of praise for its waxed finish, fantastic style, and decent weather resistance. Plus like most Oxford kit, it’s well made.
