The Ring RINVU500 inverter’s 500W output is ideal for powering laptops, phones, and small appliances without a hitch. You’ll find one UK three-pin socket as well as two USB ports, making it handy for camping or just about any outdoor adventure.
LeIt has a lightweight sturdy case and long 12v cables to connect to your car’s battery (not 12V socket). Little details, like the inclusion of a low voltage alarm are useful – so you don’t deplete your battery too much.
While many have sung its praises, not everyone is entirely delighted. Some users have flagged up a slightly noisy fan or issues if you push the load beyond 150W, but I guess that’s somewhat countered by the lower price of the Ring.
